Around Baños City

Visiting Baños is an unforgettable experience. It is located on Tungurahua, Ecuador. It is a small city near the volcano “Tungurahua”. Moreover, it suffered damages from the volcano eruption that had influence of the city story.

The city is fulfilled of memorable and awesome places, each corner of the city will show a little part of story, which is very interesting and good for tourist. Some mind-blowing places are the water pools that use temperature of the volcano to warm up the water and also has minerals. Another characteristic place of the city is the church “Basílica de la Virgen de Agua Santa”, or the “Columpio del Fin del mundo”, which is on a mountain with views to the city. A common food there is the sugar cane, melcochas and guayaba sweets.
